Silica is found in all cells, tissues and organs. It is an important nerve salt regulating the conductivity of the nerves. As an inorganic basic substance of the connective tissue it provides solidity and support. It is important for nails and hair as well as the elasticity of all the membranes. Silica also dissolves crystal uric acid deposits. It is applied as a nerve salt for irritated nerves and nervousness, absentmindedness, sensitivity to direct sunlight, sensitivity to noise, restlessness; and twitching limbs while sleeping.

It is a connective tissue salt that alleviates relaxation of connective tissue, varicose veins, hemorrhoids; arteriosclerosis and formation of wrinkles. It is the beauty aid of Biochemistry because it prevents premature aging of the skin.

Effective when used in cases of brittle, splitting hair, brittle nails and nail bed inflammation.
