Testimonial of CR, registered nurse

It was in the middle of December, 1999 when I noticed that something was wrong with my right eye. Since it was so close to Christmas I decided to postpone a checkup until the New Year. In the mean time I could tell that a vein in my eye had burst, and I could only see out the bottom right corner of it. There was no pain, however. Then, one day, I woke up realizing that I had a tumor.

On January 11, 2000 an examination confirmed my worst fears. The doctor informed me that I had a cancerous tumor behind my right eye, one to two centimeters in size, although the exact dimensions were difficult to estimate because of its position.

After that everything happened very quickly. I was sent to the eye clinic in Frankfurt Hoechst the next day. My son and his wife never left my side. After more tests they told me that this was one of the most difficult operations possible. I was to be put under anaesthetic for 12 hours, and my body temperature would be lowered to 32 degrees Celsius (86.6 degrees Fahrenheit) in order to minimize the intake of oxygen. I would be packed in ice to reduce the activity of my brain and nervous system without damage. This was necessary in order to preserve the eye while removing the tumor.

I went home to prepare for the operation. Since I knew that a lengthy anaesthetic would harm my liver, I wanted to purge it of toxins. I prepared a recipe including various herbs and pure lemon and apple juice. This I drank daily, and added to it three to five liters of water and minerals in the form of dissolved Schuessler Biochemic tissue salts. I called it my "cocktail" and always changed the proportions of the different salts. I want to emphasize that No. 6 (potassium phosphate) prevented me from falling into a deep hole; I experienced no depression. Also of great benefit was the "Inner Journey" process developed by Barbara Grund, an emotional release system. She led me by telephone through the labyrinth of my deepest psychological fears, and I found out why I had that tumor on the right side.

On January 24, 2000 I went to the hospital for further tests and preparation for the surgery. There too I continued my diet of tea, fruit juices and Schuessler salts for 10 days until the day of my operation, February 2. The operation went well. Recuperation was at first difficult, but things continued to improve and I began to regain my strength.

A few days after the surgery I felt pain in my right arm. The doctors investigated and discovered a blockage in an artery, which they wanted to remove the next day, giving me a local anaesthetic.

I immediately embarked on a regime of taking the Schuessler minerals every half hour.

The next day the doctors found the blockage had disappeared.

On April 4, I went for radiation treatment. It was, all in all, a difficult time, but the Schuessler minerals helped put me back on my feet. I am 63 years old, and I take care of my 93-year-old mother.

Afterward, my doctors told me they were astounded at how easily the tumor had been removed x much more easily than they anticipated. When informed of the preparations I had undertaken, they expressed a deep interest, especially in the Biochemic tissue salts.
