I first came upon Biochemical Tissue Salts about 20 years ago while I was living in London, England. I was led to try them through a strong interest in complementary healing in general and a variety of minor afflictions, such as sinusitis.

It is only since I discovered Basic Source Biochemical Tissue Salts, however, with what appears to be their superior absorbability through a method of manufacture different from that of the other brands of tissue salts to which I was accustomed, and the more comprehensive information about their uses that Basic Source also makes available (heretofore the only real educational resource has been a booklet written many decades ago), that I have begun to appreciate the real extent of their usefulness.

I now commonly use Ferr Phos at the first sign of cold or flu symptoms (and almost invariably find it prevents their development); I use Kali Mur frequently both because Barbara Grund has told me, through applying Facial Analysis, that I need it, and because I can see for myself that it does seem to control the sinus congestion for which I had for years been exclusively using a Chinese patent herbal remedy; I regularly use Kali Phos for a number of reasons, most of which can probably be summarized by the phrase Barbara is so fond of repeating ('Every thought you have uses Kali Phos'); and lately I have found Silica of enormous (and immediate) help in, as it is said, simply 'chilling out': the sense of irritation that no doubt is not far off what is now being called 'information rage' - the result of humans allowing themselves to be run by the technology they have created - responds quite uncannily, I find, to it. (That means I will probably be using less of the 'Impatiens' flower remedy!)

I consider the tissue salts an invaluable tool for health and one that very large numbers of people could and would benefit from greatly if they only knew about them and had the principles of their operation clearly explained to them.
